Corporate Code of Ethics

We follow and reinforce a Corporate Code of Ethics. They include:

ARS will  conduct business with the highest standards of ethics and integrity. Its success is built on a foundation of trust, transparency, and responsibility. This Corporate Code of Ethics serves as a guiding framework for all employees, contractors, partners, and stakeholders to uphold these principles in every facet of ARS operations.

 

Business: ARS We will conduct our business operations with honesty, fairness, and transparency. We will comply with all applicable laws and regulations and make ethical decisions in all business matters.

 

Marketing: ARS marketing practices will be truthful, accurate, and respectful of consumer rights. It will not engage in deceptive advertising or engage in any form of unfair competition.

 

Contract Relationships: ARS will honor its contractual obligations and commitments. It will negotiate contracts fairly and transparently and resolve disputes in a manner that upholds the spirit of its agreements.

 

Conflicts of Interest: ARS will avoid conflicts of interest and fully disclose any potential conflicts when they arise. Decisions will always prioritize the best interests of the company and its stakeholders.

Media Relations: Only the CEO/Executive Director or a member of ARS staff explicitly assigned to do us is authorized to communicate without media.

 

Use of Social Media: ARS employees and representatives will use social media responsibly and professionally. Confidential information will not be shared. ARS social media will reflect the company's values and principles.

 

Service Delivery: ARS will provide services with a focus on quality, safety, and support for the recovery goals of the people we serve. ARS will strive for continuous improvement and address any issues promptly and responsibly​. The following is strictly prohibited. The exchange of:

  • Gifts

  • Money

  • Gratuities

  • Personal Fundraising

  • Personal Property

  • Fraternization and other Boundary Violations

  • Witnessing of Legal Documents

 

Professional Responsibilities: ARS employees will uphold the highest standards of professionalism and competence in their roles. (See Staff Code of Conduct.) They will stay current with industry best practices and adhere to relevant codes of professional conduct.

 

Human Resources: ARS will treat all employees with dignity, respect, and fairness, promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace. ARS will provide a safe and harassment-free environment and comply with all labor laws.

 

Organizational Fundraising: Fundraising activities will be conducted transparently and ethically, adhering to all relevant regulations. Funds raised will be used for their intended purposes and reported accurately.

 

Prohibition of Waste, Fraud, and Abuse: ARS will actively prevent and report waste, fraud, abuse, or any other wrongdoing within the organization. Any violations will be investigated, and corrective actions will be taken.

 

Allegations of Violations: ARS will address and investigate any allegations of ethical code violations.

Confidentiality will be maintained throughout the process, and whistleblowers will be protected.

 

The Executive Director / CEO and/or Board of Directors may at their discretion contract with a third party to investigate any allegation.

Any investigation will be documented and reported to the appropriate authority if found to be credible.

 

Education on Ethical Code of Conduct: ARS will provide training to ensure that all employees remain aware of the Staff Code of Conduct and the Corporate Code of Conduct.

 

Advocacy Efforts for the Persons Served: ARS will advocate for the best interests of the people we serve, staff, and other stakeholders ensuring that their needs are met with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Corporate Citizenship: ARS will actively engage in activities that contribute to the well-being of the communities in which it operates.
